The then President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, gave the place four and a half months after the Battle of Gettysburg took place. This historical place provides a tour where you can see the scene of the war. There is also a Museum and Tourist Information Center available to provide a more detailed explanation of the history of Gettysburg.
